Hi all,
New here, just decided to reload CFS 2 into my computer after several years away.
You, I was at a wonderful gathering this past weekend, basically a private party for military aviators, WW2 to present. It's amazing how tight the community is and the stories that come out when they're with their peers.
Anyway, each year when I go, I get the hankering to fire up the sims. One conversation got me thinking about one of my favorites, the Douglass XB-42 Mixmaster.

There was one done in 1998 or so, badly outdated now.
My CAD skills don't extend to gaming meshes and I'm wondering if this community has folks who enjoy taking on models like this (CSF2 preferably, CSF 3 secondary for the graphics. FS 2004 or FSX might be cool as well).
It's an interesting aircraft, B-29 sized bomb load on a medium bomber frame, fast like a fighter, pusher counter rotating props, heavy bomber range, projected variants included ground attack (B-25 Gunship like mods), and jet assist in external pods on the wings. The first jet bomber was based on this machine (XB-43).
Question, anyone interested in the request OR, suggestions as to who to contact?
I can provide a number of images and drawings.
Thanks!
