Thanks for the words, Mason! But I have a "New and Improved" name.

I'm not one for a lot of promotion, so I hope anyone who looks at the site and the products will see that it's not "Yet another mesh product" or YAMP. Mesh is easy, the next product's mesh was finished a little while ago. Placing the airports in their correct location and correct elevation, then blending the mesh to reduce or eliminate the plateaus is the fun part. And where the majority of the work comes from!

I'm happy to answer any questions, either in a forum or via the email links. There are a lot of preview screen shots, but I can go in and grab more for a particular spot.

Now Mason, you need to get West Virginia installed and fly around in something capable of getting in and out of the revised fields. I bought the Kodiak from Bill just because there are a lot of airfields that require it's capabilities. I may not have enjoyed driving a big truck in WV as much as driving in NC, but the flying sure is a lot more fun! :ernae:

Shameless bumping of an old thread... :kilroy:

Airport work takes most of the design time, primarily because of the inaccurate nature of the default files. Every once in a while I find one that gets a little more attention to detail and I was thinking of MCD as I did this area. It's an ANG section for the Blackhawks and Apaches that operate out of this airport. Helicopters won't be included, but at least the ground work looks as it should. Now if the SDKs *really* let the markings be laid in properly, things would be cooking!

There's already a very nice freeware mesh for Hawai'i available (mine), unlike the payware version that had two big holes at the peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa... :kilroy:

I have so much source material for the islands, it may be too much. 7 of the 8 have had the coastlines redrawn, far exceeding the data available from the state or other sources. Hawai'i is getting a top-level airport done, with FS Dreamtean doing Honolulu Intl. (PHNL) and their's Bill Womack's Dillingham. But to me, Hawai'i isn't O'ahu, it's the other islands.

But now that Avsim's file library is back taking uploads, I do have some windmill farms done that I can upload. Three locations of The Big Island.

And apologies to Mr. Michael Carr for referring to him as MCD, like his banner reads. :ernae:

Hopefully, FS Dreamteam will do a group of airports. (Redoing, Bill Melichar's airports would be a great start.)

With any luck, Bill Womack will be doing more Island airports.

I'm with you, on the other islands, being what Hawaii is all about.....I'm hoping that someone like GEX, will produce a standalone, texture and landclass, product for all the Hawaiian Islands.....Or, FTX giving them the full treatment.
