'New Orleans Saints'

Well,
As good as they look now, I still don't think they'll be in the Super Bowl....

Why?
Because they can't play outdoors in the cold.....

Remember,
The Bears knocked them out in cold weather at Soldier Field.....

In their Super Bowl season,
Their playoff run consisted of dome teams (Arizona & Minnesota)

Green Bay has home field advantage for the playoffs so if the Saints & Pack make it that far, chances are slim that they'll win outdoors at Lambeau.....

Heck Panther, even if they did tear the roof off of the Superdome, it don't get that cold in New Orleans :icon_lol:

I know the Bears are circling the drain much like the Broncos are right now but do hate, it won't help.

LoL don't get me wrong.....
I want the Saints to beat the Packers if comes down to it.......:mixedsmi:

Problem is,
The Saints outdoor & away record isn't that strong......
:monkies:

I'd love to see them go all the way again myself. But I can't forget all those years of the Aints.

Well...
It definitely was an outstanding comeback late in the 4th by the Saints....:icon29:

But alas the "outdoor grass/no dome" syndrome bit them again....

yep i guess yer right...but the Niners are a purty good team too...apparently..

My Saints beat themselves. :toilet: I HATE games like this.

Now I will be depress and pissed at the world all night!

But alas John, it was a much better game than the one I am watching now. Brees is fantastic, but you're right, the Saints have no one to blame but themselves. They gave that game away in the first and second quarters

Hmm, I too hate those circumstances. There are times when I wonder what's goin' on. Very late in the game, little time on the clock and the dang runner tries for ONE more yard thus catching himself on the ground instead of getting out of bounds. It's enough to make ya wonder. Pro sports especially, these guys have played the game for, what, 15 yrs ?? They're college grads, fer cripsake. They make the dumbest, bonehead plays that even I who have never played the game know isn't the thing to do. And the madness is not limited to the game of football.

It's enough to make ya wonder....
