• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

New Outhouse Logo Contest

Jagdflieger

Jr. Admin
The Outhouse is looking to replace the old Logo with a new one. Here are some of the requirements for entries:

New Header Logo Contest
We need a new logo the other one is getting old, lol
I would like to see a Corsair, F4U
we need to come alive ............... and a moving gif will do so, but will consider a non mover png.
It must say "SOH or Sim-Outhouse" and "Combat Flight Center", (our old name/home was CFC which we own)
Winner is a Charter Membership for life.

Do it over this old png:
attachment.php

I would advise against using a GIF image, as they can be somewhat obnoxious and take the viewer's attention from the website's actual content. A logo should be simple, yet powerful. Something that will make the viewer remember the site because of its uniqueness.

I will see if I can come up with something.

I like the one I got displayed, can you make another but make combat flight center smaller to fit in the area of where combat flight is now, this way the plane is shown.

Amen to that. Moving, flashing gifs have a lot in common with the infernal popups on tv these days.

I really like the one's that TeiscoDelRay did for us, simple yet retro, it reminds me of our 1st days at CFC in 1998, and combat flight simulator (1)
I like the others too but all staff agree on this one we have displayed.

thankyou to all.
