@NachtPiloten - These were made from Sixghost's P-47D-25+ that has been available for years in the DL section. Is there a newer -25 in the works to go with the P-47N?

Oh, never knew that p47 was his.
 
It's just a modified MS mesh to update it a bit, Ted. Rotating spinner, opening cowl flaps, better overall smoothing. It's the first model work I did for CFS3 years ago. Glad that somebody's still using it! Thanks guys!:salute:

I use it also. It's always been a favorite of mine.

Thank You very much for this, I have used this in My P47's since you first uploaded it
It has become a staple for me, since I fly the Jug alot, I like Them very much..
Ever since I was a Boy Hobbit and read Robert Johnsons book Thunderbolt ( 56th fighter squadron) Hooked on the P-47..

Barry I always thought that the P-47D 25 in the DL section was just the stock CFS3 model reskinned as a stand alone. Is it in fact a separate model and if so how does it differ from the stock model. Or did I misread your quote?
 
Hey Lewis, how's it going? Haven't seen you around in a while.

I think there are some stand-alones of the stock model in the DL section. The GMAX files for the stock model are included with the SDK(?), Sixghost used this to greatly improve it and made it available in the DL section. It has a rotating spinner, moving cowl flaps and the model appears better overall. A skin made for the stock -25 will also work on Sixghost's model and the AVH -26.

I also don't think stand-alones of Sixghost's model are allowed to be uploaded(?).

I should also add that Jaycee has uploaded the stock -25 with the fin fillet (just forward of the tail) and new weapons.

LOL sorry Lewis I didn't keep a copy of it in my HD, but I'm sure you could find it here in the library or at simviation under CFS3, it should be in the first pages! :)
