New P-51D Mustang - Little Friends

Is there any chance of seeing these models in FS2004? With the model conversion method developed by Proptrash, the poly-count is not an issue any longer and textures are not-too-different. It would be more work, but I'd buy happily. I'm still in Africa now, so I do apologize if I'm a little outofplace asking this question here and now...

I couldn't resist to paint a bit...final paint in the Netherlands, the movers come tomorrow, so uploading may take a while though...

Jankees, may you find tons of happiness in your new home.
Iwo Jima Mustangs; my father was on Iwo from Mar 45 to the end of the war. 90th Seabees

I too hope all goes well with your move Jankees, and thanks for the black-tail!

Here are two WIP's, Col Joe Thury's 'Pauline' and 'Barbara', a 35th FG Mustang out of Clark Field, Luzon in August 1945.

Awesome paints for an awesome model guys! Not sure I have McComas on the right model and most are still wip. Here's a few I've been tinkering with...

Thanks noddy! John is keeping me in line with these and I'm glad he is. I won't have much time to work on them right now and I haven't even got to enjoy just flying John's masterpieces yet.

Here is my latest effort, "Betty Lee III". I need to apply weathering and it should be uploaded sometime this weekend.

Excellent job on the nose art, and everything looks very well researched and accurate!
Also it will be another great addition to the fleet of 361st FG Mustangs!

One thing you also might want to consider, is the presence of stencils over the top of the field-applied paint work, such as on the nose, and over the top of the invasion stripes - you know, just for that extra touch of authenticity. ; )
