New Ram

Presently running 16 GB of Ram, if I was to upgrade to 32 GB of Ram, any suggestions which brand name and DDR factor I should entertain. No real concerns with the present Ram, curious if 32 GB would speed up the process ?

Stick with the same DDR you have now - different levels have different form factors that won't fit the slots.

As for Brand, the bank I work for buys Crucial for their laptop upgrades, and that same brand is in my own gaming rig. I can't say it's better or worse than something else, but I've never had an issue with it.

I would also keep the same speed unless you know your MB can handle higher RAM speeds.
