A long-time customer of my brother's aircraft repair service flew his Seneca up to Oshkosh this year and found this sweet-heart sittin' there with a "For Sale" sign on it.

They flew it back last week and it is now a member of the KAQO (Llano, TX.) family. The new owner, Doug, is now learning how to fly a tail-dragger..........

I LOVE the paint ( and a matching cowling would be nice......)

Very nice Stearman:ernae: What year is she?

I'm thinkin' he said 1943 with a complete restoration in '98 and the engine is brand new.

10 hrs. on the engine when they left Wisconsin and when they landed in Llano ( 4 days later ) there wasn't a trace of oil anywhere.

What a great x-country that must have been !!!!

Beautiful aircraft. As for the Stinson trying to takeoff without paying for fuel, shame on the pilot/owner..but a sad loss for the aircraft.

Tom: Wow..... great shots!! I've sent them on to Llano. THANKS ! :jump:

Dominique : I've got a request out for the flight plan from Oshkosh to Llano.......will post as soon as I get it.
