New resident at KAQO....

A long-time customer of my brother's aircraft repair service flew his Seneca up to Oshkosh this year and found this sweet-heart sittin' there with a "For Sale" sign on it.

They flew it back last week and it is now a member of the KAQO (Llano, TX.) family. The new owner, Doug, is now learning how to fly a tail-dragger..........

I LOVE the paint ( and a matching cowling would be nice......)

I'm thinkin' he said 1943 with a complete restoration in '98 and the engine is brand new.

10 hrs. on the engine when they left Wisconsin and when they landed in Llano ( 4 days later ) there wasn't a trace of oil anywhere.

What a great x-country that must have been !!!!

That's my nephew, Neechee, the official airport dog, and the same one who "snagged" this Stinson last year that was trying to take off without paying for fuel .

Beautiful aircraft. As for the Stinson trying to takeoff without paying for fuel, shame on the pilot/owner..but a sad loss for the aircraft.

It was pretty much a straight shot.....departing Appleton WI (KATW) with Norman OK.,
Bowie TX and Llano KAQO on the last day......
