New Rob richardson AC

Please.....don't get too excited, its little more than a thought at the moment.
I've walked past the example at Duxford many times without really looking at it.
The shape is proving deceptively complex and the landing gear may turn out to be beyond my ability to re-create.
It would be a huge amount of work!

Looking great so far, Rob.

I have many photos of the Cosford TSR2, including a lot of close up detailing and shots of the cockpit interior. You're welcome to them all if they would be of any help.

Take your time... I know it's going to be worth the wait! :applause:

On a side note, I'm currently introducing my neighbour to simming. He's an avgeek of course and worked at Boulton Paul as an apprentice in his career, but simming is new to him and he's absolutely amazed by it. He's tried a few of the planes in my fleet but the one he always asks to fly first and returns to the most is your Vampire. Every time I see him in our road and simming comes up he says "I really enjoy flying that Vampire!" Probably my joint favourite sim aircraft too, along with Dave Garwood's Rapide.

Great to see an incredible aircraft making it to FSX and long over due! When I got heavily into Flight Simulator about 13 years ago with FS2004 one of the first aircraft I sought to download was the TSR2. The only freeware available was Ito's version (Alphasim came out with one later, but I never owned it). Looks like a challenging aircraft to takeoff and land. Low altitude deep penetration attack aircraft (similar to F-111) and a high speed reconnaissance missions, two roles that are exciting profiles to fly. Can't wait!!:jump:
