• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

New Server(s) - Everything Restored?

Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but I'll chance it anyway. I'm aware that a lot (to put it mildly) of work has been done recently to replace/upgrade server hardware. Is this work now complete? The reason I ask is that I've been trying to download several repaints for the Warbirdsim P-51 Mustang only to get messages such as:
"Not Found

The requested URL /soh_ftp/fs2k4/WBS_P-51_Turnip_Termite.zip was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Grateful if someone could advise if this is due to the ongoing(?) data restore or if these files are corrupt and/or no longer available.

There are some files still missing from the FTP library. I'm not sure how far along Douglas is with getting everything in the library up to speed again, but it is being worked on.


I'll pass the info along to Douglas.
