Found this in my already created USS Kadashan Bay folder:
---
"Charlie Eighty-Eight"
Here is a good one from VC-20 (Composit) off of the USS Kadashan Bay of Taffy Two in the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
VC-20 was involved with an attack on the Yamato too.

It's by Bub and represents a plane flown by an uncle-in-law.

Search for: "TBM-1C_Avenger_Coughtrie_VC-20"
----
According to my sources, VC20 was on board:

8-12/1944 with 15 FM and 11 TBM = 26 A/C
1-2/ 1945 with 24 FM and 11 TBM = 35 A/C

This is another nice ship. I ahve a question though:
According to all pics I have, CVE-76 had a square antenna, while on the pic of the model, it is a round one. I suppose this ship is based on the post war Sicily model?

Yah right Jaxon, its a remake of the Sicily done quickly for Bub. The textures were altered to accommodate the new look and the model had to have some of the parts joined to get the camo to sit properly.

The bit I like in Bub's story (http://205.252.250.26/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1264011211),

"During the battle his Squadron, VC-20, attacked the Yamato and scored hits on the Nagato."

WOW...now thats what I call a miss.:icon_lol:
