CFS3_Wickes Class_Destroyers - Stuart277's gmax Wickes class destroyer models originally built for CFS2 converted to CFS3

The Wickes class destroyers were a class of destroyers built by the US Navy in 1917–19. They were grouped as the "flush-deck" or "four-stack" type. Only a few were completed in time to serve in World War I, including USS Wickes, the lead ship of the class. While some were scrapped in the 1930s, the rest served throughout World War II. CFS3_HMS_Implacable_Class - HMS Implacable Class carriers for CFS3

The Implacable-class aircraft carrier consisted of two aircraft carriers built for the Royal Navy during World War II. Derived from the design of the Illustrious class, they were faster and carried more aircraft than the older ships. CFS3 RM Gabiano - RM Gabbiano-class corvette for CFS3

@Thudman to get this one to show up I had to rename the folder to the same name as the .m3d file, easy enough to do but thought I would mention it in case you didn't know cfs3 naming for the ships and vehicles requires this.
Another thing and I'm not sure it is a problem or a consequence of converting from CFS2 to CFS3 but the bow wake is actually in front of the bow and the smoke isn't coming from the stack, I can fix those by changing the x and y positions and post correct positions here if you'd be OK with that.
I haven't installed any other of your conversions yet due to time but I'm starting to work through them now and can do the same for them if is OK with you.

Ok, for the RM Gabbiano I changed the folder name from
CFS3 RM Gabbianno
to match the m3d file
RM_Gabbianno (remove CFS3 and add the underscore)

To fix the stack smoke and bow wave replace the effects section in the xdp file with this -
<Effects>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_smk_plume_ship_m" PosZ="-3.5" PosY="13.5"/>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_wake_B_and_G_destroyers" MinVel="2" MaxVel="100" PosZ="-30.5" PosY="0.5"/>
</Effects>
Dont forget to delete the .bdp file to force the game to read the changes to the xdp file.

A couple more adjustments

With the full height versions the .m3d files are using a rn_illustrious.dds (not in the package) instead of the included files rnimplacable44.dds or the Indefatigableb.dds, easy hex edit fix

The stack smoke needed a little tweak in all versions, change the effects entry from
<Effects>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_smk_plume_ship_m" PosX="13.0" PosZ="-6.0" PosY="20.0"/>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_wake_a_cruiser" MinVel="0.1" MaxVel="100"/>
</Effects>
to
<Effects>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_smk_plume_ship_m" PosX="13.0" PosZ="14.0" PosY="33.0"/>
<Effect Type="Track" EffectName="fx_wake_a_cruiser" MinVel="0.1" MaxVel="100"/>
</Effects>

Another thing I noticed was something funky with the guns on the ship, when the stations rotate to open fire on a target they dont rotate on the axis of the mount, I'm not sure whats going on but you can see in the image below, note the guns sitting to the side the ships deck on the right.
UeCR3fM.jpg

When no enemy aircraft are around they sit in the correct place on the deck, maybe something down to the differences between CFS2 and CFS3, its no biggie, you really dont notice it if your flying around, it was only because I was concentrating on positioning the smoke
