New Ships released by Stuart!

GMax RN I Class DD for CFS2 V2.0.zip

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Ships Add-Ons

Description: These are GMax renditions of the interwar Royal Navy I Class Destroyers, for CFS2 V2.0

These ships are now multi-LOD and have appropriate DP files.

They have been re-textured, so, unfortunately, repaints from earlier versions will not work.

I have saved the textures as 16bit 565 files. I had problems with the ships appearing 'totally black' when using DXT1 and a transparency issue with the funnel caps when using DXT3.

Each group has 6 ships: 1939, 1941, 1944, 1939 with Pennant Number, 1941 with Pennant Number, 1944 with Pennant Number.

GMax models are included.

I hope you don't mind, but I deleted your original Tribal destroyer and Intra-War destroyer sets from the library, since it was your intent to replace them with these new versions.

Hi Rami
Nice Librarian Work.
All of my older British and Italian ships (and a couple of IJN ships) had DP's related to 'at the time' CFS2 ships (and had too many polys with smaller weapons). It was all part of the on'going learning curve.
I will attempt to replace them over the winter (in Oz)

PS Dombral and others did a lot of work on the textures of the original ships, and they will not work with the new versions. The new dp versions will be ok

Description: These ships represent various stages of the Dido/Bellona class light cruisers used by the Royal Navy in WWII.

This is version 2.1

Models are Multi_LOD and have new texture and DP files.

Each ship has it's own texture file, although they are all named 'RN_Bellona_Class'.

There are five ships in the download: RN_DidoClassCL1942_LOD, RN_DidoClassCL1944_LOD, RN_ScyllaClassCL1942_LOD, RN_ScyllaClassCL1944_LOD, and RN_BellonaClassCL1944_LOD.

GMax models are included.

Once again, simply outstanding work. :medals: I hope it goes according to plan that I removed the 2013 version (1.0) of these ships from the library. :very_drunk:

There are ten deparate ships classes in this download:

RN_VWDest_1918_LOD - Typical V and W destroyers from WWI

RN_VWDest_1939_LOD - Typical V and W destroyers around 1939

RN_VWDest_LRE_1940_LOD - Typical V and W Class set as Long Range Escorts in WWII

RN_VWDest_SRE_1940_LOD - Typical V and W Class set as Short Range Escorts in WWII

RN_VWDest_WAIR_1940_LOD - Typical V and W Class set as WAIR Ships in WWII

Each group has ships with pennants and without (NP)

Ships have new DP's and are Multi_LOD

GMax model is included

Many thanks for these. I deleted the 2013 era Scott-class destroyer, but are there any ships you want me to remove from the Scrap Iron flotilla package? There's a 1940 Stuart model in there as well...along with other stuff.
