Good information.
The ships are 'mirrored' so different port and starboard textures cannot be done without re-texturing the GMax models.

Ravenna spotted an error with the ship file for the FNS DD Enseign Roux.
it reads:

title=FNS_DD_Enseigne_Roux_LODs_LOD
sim=FNS_DD_Enseigne_Roux_LODD

It should read:

[fltsim.0]

Stuart,

In what format do you save your BMPs? I have a repaint for HMS Active which doesn't want to show up in the sim. I've tried DXT1, DXT3 and 256 but no result other than a white ship:banghead:. What am I doing wrong?

I make the original texture file as a 1024 x 1024 .tga file using jasc paintshop pro.

I save the TGA file as an Extended 16 bit 565 using Martin Wrights bmp program for CFS2.
