...About VN_Cleveland & SHA_StLOUIS, and also HMS Argus, I have no idea with whom I have to get in touch to get permission to share with you guys....
Why, ask Rami our librarian! I am 100% sure he knows!
Another way to do it properly is writing an accurate
'Credit Due' account, listing all of the original author's names and whatever info you can get from their readme files. Then paste it into your own readme instructions, included in your works.
This is what I usually do when I want to re-upload original works, whose authors do not respond to my authorisation requests or their e-mail accounts are no longer valid. My readme files include every name that could have possibly contributed to the new upload, either directly as original designers or indirectly, as, for example, Martin Wright for his DXTbmp utility which allows 'extended' bitmap texture files manipulation.
It takes time writing it yet, so far, I never received any complaint or requests to delete my uploads from SOH library. Once you do the first, you can copy and paste all the names which routinely need to be credited for their original creations, thus reducing writing time.
Cheers!
