New / Updated campaign by Skylane!

Skylane,

I will do whichever you think is best; just let me know on Monday. I'm gonna saw some logs in the meantime.

Another problem?

There seem to be a problem with Rhumbaflappy's updated mapping file and mesh. When trying to download it, I get a message "Internal server error."

As for my self I can live with it, since I have the files on another computer, but I think I'd just report it. I think it may not be a problem on Sim-Outhouse's server - it could be that the addresses just point to another server, that has a problem? Anyway, if a newcomer would try to use Rami's excellent update, he or she may get a problem.

Skylane, thank you for doing this update - and now you will even make it better. Thank you for all your effort.:applause:

I tried downloading a couple at random with no issues; can someone confirm this? :dizzy: Or is this a bandwith restriction issue?

Rami, if I D/L from say your ETO guide, I also get the files, but if I try from Skylane's PTO version I get the "Internal server error". And today it even says, that I should contact SOH about it :). Thus the problem may be in this document?

I used the modified PTO mesh install guide in my package. It seems that the download links have changed in the meantime?

Rami, can I just copy the links from the ETO guide into my document, and it should work?

I think it is best if you remove the package from the library, and I will upload it again once these issues are fixed.

Thanks for pointing out the problems, guys, please let me know if you discover anything else that doesn´t work properly!

Finn,

Aha! Then it probably is the old links. I'll get right on that. Cheers! :ernaehrung004:

And Skylane - Yes, I will pull it from the library until further notice. :encouragement:

Progress Report:

KDriver, Rami, Uncle Tgt and Devildog have updated and expanded Onno's Sumatra scenery, and allowed me to include the scenery with my campaign package.
I still need to test a few missions, how they work with the new scenery, but I don't think that I have to modify anything.
I have changed all the missions, so they now use Stuart's new destroyers. I have also added the updated PTO Scenery Install Guide to the package.

I hope I can finish everything early next week, and re-upload the package, although I can't promise snything...

Hey guys!

I´ve finally uploaded the updated version of my campaign.
It now also contains two Hurricane skins done by Uncle Tgt representing actual aircraft that flew in the real event.

I hope that I corrected everything, and no new issues come up.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Campaigns Add-Ons

Description: This is a reworked edition of my old campaigns “Buffaloes over Singapore”, “Hurricanes over Singapore” and “Battle for Java”.

On the British Commonwealth side I consolidated all the missions into two campaigns. In the first one, starting with the Japanese attacks on Malaya and ending with the loss of Singapore, you will fly the Brewster Buffalo. In the second campaign you fly the Hawker Hurricane, starting in January 1942 when the first of these fighters became available during the defense of Singapore. It continues with the ill-fated attempt to defend Sumatra and ends on Java, with the surrender of Dutch and Commonwealth forces in March 1942.

There is a third, completely new campaign in this package, which looks at the conflict from the Japanese side. You fly the Nakajima Ki-43 with the 64th Sentai of the Japanese Army Air Force from the beginning of the invasion of Malaya until the Japanese victory in Java.

Second, updated Version.
