New updated / F-102 Release screen shots

I wonder how they landed the real plane. I can’t believe they did it entirely on ILS. With ILS you normally have a ‘decision height’ of a few hundred feet where you have to see the runway to go on, unless you have a fully automatic landing system. Did they perhaps indeed use curved approaches?

Hi,

Been working on the one below the last few days. It saw service with the Wash ANG so that's why the Ace of Spades insignia is still on the intake.
I really like this aircraft.

I have another one, California ANG, in the works.

Ewww... Pretty!

Since I am native of the Keystone state I will definitely have to fly that one allot :)

This is purely congecture but I would imagine that they use a MDA (minimum descent altitude).

As you can see from this shot, while I am a little high & a little fast I can plainly see that there is an airport in front of me. Moreover since my ILS needles say everything is fine then odds are it is :wiggle:

I've not been active on this side of the FS Forums for about a year now, so I'm out of the loop on the 102. I looked briefly at the Razbam site but it shows nothing new since the A-6. Is this a WIP? I worked the F-102 for 2 years at Perrin AFB in North Texas, an ATC/ADC Base until the early 70's.

Really excited about this!

Watching how David made the 3D gauges on the Live Stream was a treat. Deff. going to purchase this one.

Any idea on when the next Live Stream session will be David? I've been checking daily like a mad man lol.

Regards, Diego

Any chance of seeing Greek and Turkish paints in the end product? Those were the only countries outside US that used the Dagger I think.

As far as Greece, they were painted ADC Grey when delivered and later repainted in Vietnam cammo.

I'm sure you don't want that, so just let me buy your product instead.
