New Virtavia A-4 repaints

Hey Steve,

Flew the '121 Green off Gary's Midway for some carrier testing. Lovely paint! I ran out of time to try the '164 - and I really like that you appear to have added a custom helmet to that paint. For 60s and 70s eras, that's an awesome touch.

Cool helmets, huh?

Thanks again for your great work on the Scooter ....

DL

Thank you DL. I added the orange chevrons to the 164 pilot's head gear based on the photo I had. Glad you like it. VA-93 will be up later today. I'm going ahead with the 212 bird with a different side number since I had already created a new shield and did a few hours research before I knew there were others out there.

Also have an "F" in the works of VA-113 Stingers which they only flew for a short time before converting to A-7Bs.

Looking forward to all three.

I learned something new from you today ... I didn't realize '113 used the F before going to the Corsair ... I always thing of A-4Cs in the context of VA-113. Cool. Who knew ...

take care,

dl

request?

I dunno if this appropriate and is the right place, but if anyone is kind enough to make a repaint TT-0403 Indonesia Air Force. I am nowhere close to proficient in repainting. I believe this in conjunction with the Navy livery within the sim

Thanks in advance :jump::jump: :encouragement:

... and just downloaded. Many thanks Steve!!!

Here's a quick stop at Saigon, on a busy morning, transiting through up to Chu Lai ... kind of like how the AI C-133, DC-6, and Constellation all came together ...

And another, about to go "Feet Dry" on a misty morning strike near Haiphong during Rolling Thunder...

Thanks ex,

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the humped E and F, so I change the model= reference. Works fine ... though on the later M, with the square fin, I don't mind the hump as much. Don't ask me to explain it, I don't know .. :very_drunk:

cheers,

dl
