Yes, folks.

It's a Prepar3D v4-only Nimitz/Ike package, as they appeared in 2017 -- still very much WIP.

Individually-controllable elevators -- again, note the guard wires.

To the left, Elevator 3. To the right, Elevator 4.

Riding Elevator 4 to the flight deck.

The guard wires retract to allow movement off the elevators.

I know of another ship with the same nickname, "Love Boat", USS Acadia (AD-42). My neighbor served on her in the early 1990s, prior to it being decommissioned. The Acadia got it's nickname, after 36 female sailors got pregnant during a Persian Gulf deployment. NC

We've been hiding behind a rock for too long. I think it's time to show these. :)

The dev testing of the Phantom patch, upgrades to Midway tech and the new upcoming Nimitz is going very well. If beta goes equally well, we should be entering the launch cycle!

Video of the new pitching deck, which responds to the weather conditions realistically. Built off real USN data. Shown here on Coral Sea and included in the upcoming update.

And a small walk around the Nimitz which seems to be wrapping up, finally!

The aircraft on deck are statics put on deck in a way that will be shown tomorrow!

That walk-around vid takes me back to walking those catwalks to get to the turning helo. Update vid adds to the excitement, now I can spot planes on deck real time, I'm still trying to drive the tug with the F-4! One can spend hours just planning around on deck without even flying.

While very much a flight simulator, what we are trying to do is exactly that: give you a sandbox with a lot of other things to do other than flying.

And the tow truck will make an appearance here as well. Working on that spotting dolly...

Took these this morning....:encouragement: Navy Chief
