Well, I did a thing... I took advantage of both having an extra paycheck this month and Amazon dropping the price for the controller. I have the stick half pretty much the way I want it, but I'm still in the middle of configuring the throttle section - I need to figure out something to do with all the different switches. I'm currently thinking most will be lights. One thing that I don't like is that the "slider" on the throttle isn't a slider. It's just a button that doesn't release when you take your finger off of it. On my X52, I had that as the spoiler axis. I like being able to do a steep descent in something like the Honda and use the air brake in small amounts to regulate my speed.
I'm currently working on the throttle's "Single" profile, with only the right throttle axis active. Once I have everything the way I want it with the switches, I'll duplicate it and set the two throttle axes for Throttle One and Throttle Two. After that, I'll make one more duplicate and set the left for one and two, and the right for three and four. That will cover things like the Dash-7 and other quads. The asymmetrical thrust will be especially helpful on some of the encrypted twins that currently have atrocious ground handling when you can't enable differential braking on the twist stick.
One very odd thing about the software. It doesn't add itself to the Start menu. I had to take the desktop shortcut and copy that to the folder that holds most of the rest of the Start menu shortcuts.
