Thank you very much AcWai, Captain Kurt and UncleTgt for those Zeros, I'm in love with them :applause::jump: :redfire:
I'm going to make some custom DP files for an A6M2 senbaku/bakusen, an A6M5b (Otsu), an A6M5c (Hei) and an A6M7, I already see what I could use to achieve that :jump: (you can make an A6M5a (Ko) by just changing the ammo count of the cannons, 125 rounds each).
Thank you very much again :applause::applause::applause:

Hi Ludo

Thanks for your enthusiasm.

Creating different models for game play just for the fun of it is OK. It's a game after all. If you are after purely historical accuracy it's not the same story, but we tried to accomplish both things with the models accuracy and UncleTgt's historical paint schemes, along with Andrew's fantasy paint skins.

From a historical accuracy standpoint, there are some physical differences in the different A6M5's. For example the A6M5a had changed wing cannons from drum fed to belt fed which meant it had entirely different lower wing bulges, attendant panel lines, and a reinforced leading edge wing cannon exit - kind of a small square edge shape. The A6M5c had a different cowling to accommodate one of the nose machine guns changing to a 12.7mm and the addition of wing machine guns along with all the changes to wing bulges, panel lines etc., etc.

So have fun with it, and thank you for the compliments.

Hi Captain, thank you again for those Zeros, the models are truly beautiful. As for the DP files it's really just for the fun of doing it and for the gameplay (I finished them, it was a nice session of open-close CFS2 :biggrin-new:) and as there are some Zeros in those configurations available on SOH, like your A6M2 Ryuho, Allen's A6M5c or Oglivie A6M7 for example, I just wanted to see how it would look on these new Zeros and fly them in QC (but for real, they are damn beautiful, I really like how the engine and the cowling look). I'm already thinking of at least two missions with the A6M5, will start in the upcoming days I think. Thank you again Captain, AcWai and Uncle :jump:
