• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Newport Oregan Muni airport: Download

Here is the Newport municipal airport in Newport, Oregon.
This is an update for the Default FSX airport. I have placed the parking in the correct angle, corrected the position of the taxiways, added missing buildings, and added some static aircraft and vehicles......
This airport will be available later tonight.....

Thanks Truker for making this. Spent many nights there at the Coast Guard Air Facility from 1993-1995. We deployed out of the CG Air Station in North Bend to man the facility in Newport. It allowed us to provide a faster response for search and rescue efforts in the Northern part of Oregon. It is a beatiful area.Thanks!

I've been up in that area and past the airport a few times, when making deliveries....
I always loved that area, I took a flight in FSX and landed their....After looking at google earth images of the airport, I decided to try and make it closer to the real one....
It is definitely not an exact duplicate of the airport.....But it is a lot closer to it.....The coast guard station is not their, but I have a PM to someone who might know where it is located....If he lets me know I will add it to the scenery and post the update....
