• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

New iPhones are released!!

Hey guys and gals,

The new iPhones were released today. I now join the ranks of honourary iPhone owners. I just went 2 long months without a cell phone. I think I relied on it more for emergency purposes more then anything.

So, this new system has voice command that is amazing!! It even understands what I am saying, lol... Compass is very cool ad well. It shows your GPS coordinants.

I loaded up my apps and it was just a sliver of memory on the 'how much memory you have' slider. I thought something was wrong. I forgot I now have a 32Gig unit, lol....

This is crazy wild technology.

Oh. The video camera works quite fluid and it has targeting for autofocus system. It recognized Juniors ears and zeroed j. On his head, lol ...

Would love to begin seeing what kind of video it takes... I just downloaded our update for the 3G... I can't wait to try hooking it up to the laptop to see if I can use the phones connection through the laptop...

No go for me.

There is no 'Tethering' option in my menu. I asked at the discussions.apple.com forums and they said that AT&T do not support it yet. That scares me. Perhaps thats what Apple and AT&T were having an issue with. I hope AT&T gets with it soon. I want that option bad.

Good to know they are working on it. AT&T should have known better.. bums.. cant handle the contract, then step aside..
