Next in line...Messerschmitt Bf109 C/D model for Fs9/CFS2

Hi Folks,
The next early model Bf109, the C1 and D1 models. The B and C models were pre-war aircraft, whereas the D1 was used in 1939/40, during the early stages of WWII.

Model done, basically a few tweaks and additions to the C/D model including a new spinner and variable prop, along with a lot of new tex choices. Papi has done some new 2D panels and an operating manual, and Huub adding some texs to the pot.

Not long now.....

Shessi, these early Me-109s look really great. Thanks for filling in another chunk of the early history of this aircraft. Also thanks in anticipation of Papi's excellent panels and manual. Just when I think that FS9 is about at the end of the road for new aircraft offerings, more excellence arrives.

A friend asked me if I was going to get a new PC to cope with the upcoming FS 2020. It is an indication of the excellence of the a/c, both payware and freeware, that have been produced for this very old programme, together with the fact that it has given me a lot of personal sim-flying satisfaction, that I have not really been looking to upgrade to something 'better'. Maybe I'm at an age where change is always a little suspect and daunting. But I have had such great times flying such great offerings from some real craftsmen and artisans that I see little need to turn to another source, when I have got to know this old friend so well.

Not to mention the unhesitating support and advice given by Sim-Outhouse when a glitch is encountered.

Me-109s

Thanks for the Me-109s, they are great! I have several Me-109s pay ware but I fly your Me-109s most love the Finland paint I fly FSX and they work great, just a little prop issue.. Lee

You're correct, the Fins ordered 162 Bf109 Gs from which they received 159. (3 were lost during transport). 48 of them were G-2 aircraft, 2 of them were G-8 reconnaissance aircraft and the rest were G-6 aircraft.
They stayed in service until spring 1954!

So this is a "What if" livery.

After a lot of struggling with the Olympic rings at the spinner, I think the Handrick repaint is ready for upload.

The next one is Werner Mölders in RLM02 finish. "Luchs" is German for "Lynx". The most common theory behind the name of this aircraft is that Mölders had the eyes of a Lynx. Which is why the aircraft became its name from the groundcrew. Based on the pictures of the real aircraft it could also be finished in RLM63 (Light grey) or RLM62 (middle green), which can also be found on several profile drawings. However I choose for RLM02.
