Nigel Richards Avro Tutor

Senior Administrator
Well I have been lucky enough to be given a preview of Nigel's Avro Tutor and variants. These are the Fs9 models in FsX Dx10, but Nigel is working on FsX native versions. They are beautiful...

I was also fortunate to be able to test fly these in FS9 , absolutely magnificent models and sounds. :applause: :applause:

Pete.

Seriously gorgeous and mouthwatering !! :applause:

Thanks for the HU, Roger ! And the FS9 link, Seahawk !

Re FSX ( aka P3Dv4..;-) will the Bounty scenery be available too ?

Truly made my day news ! :encouragement:

cheers,

Faith Restored

I was beginning to get a bit jaded with FSX freeware vintage aircraft but my faith has been restored on seeing this. Now I'm actually looking forward to something. Bravo, she's puurrdy:applause:

Initial Testing

Many thanks, Roger - really awesome screenshots too. :)

Many thanks to old friends and new, for much appreciated support for what is now the culmination of 2 years' work.

A team of good folk are now busy with initial testing of the 4 main models: AVRO 621 (Mongoose engine), AVRO 621 Tutor (Armstrong Siddeley Lynx), AVRO 626 Prefect (Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah), and AVRO - PWS-18 (Wright J-5).

As soon as we iron out issues here, we'll do the same with the float variants, then hopefully move on to proper beta testing.

I must pay very special thanks to Milton Shupe, for going way beyond the kindness of a dear Friend and investing what must have been many hours of coaxing me over the initial hurdles.

And thanks, Pete Ham - that very special type of Real World biplane Friend, who is always ready with coffee and spiritual sustenance when you need it most.
