Night lysander Missions into Occupied France

Wow this is great, these will really improve the nite missions
Thanks for these Cool new trucks..
I am very eager to use these..

Here are some shots of the German Half Track with searchlight. The light has a pretty good range. Here I let it come in close then jumped in the rear gun position to try and shoot the light out. I must have hit some ammo or gas cans because the darn thing exploded!!!.:icon_eek:

This will work pretty nicely coming across a field at you with some troops and other German vehicles.

Steve

The French vehicle will have to be w40_f_staf2_car. At least, assuming I've got the version right. It should be the black, civilian Citroen Traction Avant. In any case, the model is the correct one - the skin I can fiddle with at leisure.

Bloody good! I'm looking forward to the night becoming FAR more interesting!

Putting the finishing touches on the lighted truck. Loic mentioned a west 40 French vehicle would be nice to have done the same way. Loic you and Nigel pick the one you want and I will include if you guys want it done.
Steve,

My favorite one would be the Citroën Traction as this is one of the most famous car of the 30's.
w40_f_staf2_car

But w40_f_truck_u23 would also be a good one. As this is a non German or British truck, it would be suitable for night ops in any occupied countries. Moreover, it would also be perfect to be used in missions with the 'black' B24 as a truck can load the heavy supply packages dropped by this aircraft.

So, as you want Steve, for me it's one of these two!

thanks.

We have agreement! The civilian Traction and the U-23.

Looks as though once I've finished my current projects - joke! - I'll need to be looking at the Lizzie. Some of the current skins are improvable...

WHAT!!
"Bloody good! I'm looking forward to the night becoming FAR more interesting! "

wait a minute, don't you live in the country where one claim to fame, are the beautiful French Ladies..
HOW could "not" every nite there be interesting??
It was for me when I was there..
OPPPS..
LOL..
And the new vehicles are great Thanks to the "Masters" for this..

I'm sure this suggestion has been mentioned before but if we can do Lysander missions what about perhaps doing some similar missions with the Fi-156? I'm thinking of the operation on 10 May 1940 when 25 Fi-156s shuttled 125 German troops into the Ardennes. As I recall, many of them got completely lost.

Gentlemen, my wife is German, and takes a dim view if I start lining up the local popsies!

Craig - another good idea!

Nigel, I just mailed the revised Citroen to you and Loic. the revised pack has two Citroen's in it along with a new effects file dated May 02_2010.

The Citroen's now have a new and better headlamp beam made just for this car. The beam is tighter, smaller and brighter.

Also there is a 2nd Citroen that has head lamps that will flash to high beams and then back down to low beam for signaling. The actual beam will move up as the head lamps get larger and brighter and then down as the head lamps are dimmed. I asked Mike to do a short video demonstrating the high and low beams.

Traction lovers

Now I know who is the master that model the Citroên Traction, I made a copy from this stuff for myself with a FFI (French résistance) repaint, only available for the last days of the Paris iberation.
Note : in that case the guy inside should be a civilian or a french policeman.

Let me know if I can upload it or share it in anyway.
