Night Texture?

stuart277

SOH-CM-2025
Hi all
I was playing Rami's redone Heinkel missions and noticed that the night sky and the rendering of the aircraft and runways looked odd.
There were no stars and there are distinct colour layers in the sky.
I have posted some pictures of my install using a Fairy Battle at Guernsey as they show the 'problem'.
I have (hopefully) followed Rami's instructions.
I have also included a Hellcat night image from another install. It has stars and some layering.
Daytime seems OK.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Stuart,

Actually no, I'm drawing a blank on this one. For night missions that I fly, I do see stars, but the multi-textures might be evidence of a post-dusk or pre-dawn time frame. Stars do appear to be represented in the night missions I fly, and any clouds that show up are kind of mottled; they blend into the background.

Could you also be more specific regarding what you mean about "the runways looking odd?"

More Pics

Hi Rami
Thanks for the reply and thanks for all your efforts.
I have three more pics, Ramsgate Airfield 1.09am and you can actually see 5 or 6 stars in N5. N6 shows the 'mottled runway' and N7 is a daytime shot.
Cheers
Stuart
