My two cannon f6f's have been sent, does any one want this, before i start work on it, it wont have the rear cockpit as it should, just the radom.
 
The P38M is a cool looking AC. I'd be happy to have one in my hangar. Will you be able to add the flash suppressors to the guns?

Would you also consider making the APS-4 as a payload (like a bomb or a drop tank) so it could be carried by other AC?
 
Nope, just sat there. It was actually tested in various forms on P-38L's before all this data was complied to make the P-38M. Jaycee, I remember seeing an earlier version with just one seat and the radom of the M. You could try that instead if you aren't going to do the dual pit.

FF.If you have any better piccies,or some links.so i can get a good look at it,Plus i would have to know which single aircraft you had in mind, If i made it for a particular aircraft there is no guarantee that it would fit others.
 
Can't hardly find squat on the APS-4 from the net. I have a three view drawing of it mounted to a P-38M - if you PM me your address I'll send it to you along with a couple close ups of the P-38M nose. This site indicates that it was about the size of a 500lb bomb.

The APS -4 was carried on hard points of certain AC and should be the same or very similar to the one on the P-38M.

I was thinking of maybe choosing it in the AC weapon menu. If it is modeled as a pylon it would have to be AC specific I think(?) and that would cause some problems. But if it was made to be like a bomb or a drop tank wouldn't that be OK? Something that could mount to a hard point as a 'weapon'?

Ah yes, i see where your commong from, i am sure we will get something sorted.
 
Loadouts

I made the Fw190 and Bf109 radar add ons by making them loadouts and redoing the xdp.
 
here its sofar, have to stop now for the weekend, my wife wants me to do crazy things, like shopping, going out to lunch, going for drives in the car, and heaven forbide, sit down and talking to her.
 
As a tip, you might get better results with the 3D model of the J and a shiny _s.dds, the mirror finish looks slightly odd with a paint scheme. I know it was gloss but still.
