Yesterday I've tested both my upcoming F-14 (still some work to do on the cockpit) and the T-45 (I will release another update soon, improvements based on what I learned during F-14 development)... and I have to say the new carriers are GREAT.

It is radpidly becoming my all-time favourite freeware vehicle/scenery add-on EVER. Extremely detailed and accurate.
The only drawback is that my planes do not look that good on those marvelous decks!

Hi Dino, I've just downloaded & installed your yout T-45 for the first time. Absolutely amazing! Such detail:ernae: Thank you.

I'm getting in as much practice as I can for the Nimitz:jump:

I do have a question..... Some of the lights are showing in wrong places. Do I have an installation problem, or is there a fix for this i've not seen?

Jeepers , we have enough pilots here to complement a full air wing , whos the Air Boss :kilroy: the flight director .. just have to ask this .. a multiplay is enivertable :engel016:

At present, all the users who reported issues with the lights were using FSX:SP2 - while the T-45C is Acceleration native plane. Not sure if this is your case, and should not make much difference theoretically...

The latest version released is 1.80.
A minor update is coming soon:will add better backlighting in the VC, proper Aoa indicator an minor geometry fixes... Will release it asap.

I guess that with Javier's oustanding carriers coming soon, I will have to do my best to deliver F-14D (and the T-45C update) asap!

Detail right down to an LSO pickle switch, lol, great touch !!!!!! :USA-flag: :medals::guinness::icon29: crew everywhere.:applause:

DX9, 1360x768x32, fps locked at 30, water low 2X, clear weather, will run fps average test, then next tests will be DX10. In DX10, so far, haven't noticed any texture issues, any particular issue??
 
Ah yes Dino, you're correct. I'm running SP2 NOT accelleration. Guess i'll have to live with that. I'm sure having a lot of fun it it - a really GREAT model.

WOW, it means a lot coming from you! I appreciate it. Beta testing is going well and I'm aiming for a friday release (cross fingers...)

BTW, wilycoyote, the LSO windshield is missing your the last batch of screenshots. That bug is already fixed.

I wondered about that. Thanks.

Found another animation ----elevator--- used by the payware Captsim XLoad F/A-18D in Canadian Tiger paint.

In two screenys, there seems to be a texture problem. It is a blue texture on the right of the elevator. ??

Wily...these look good....no, GOOD !
 
Nice catch! It's a missing texture. In DX10 it shows up as a blue texture with FSX logo on it. In DX9 what you see when a map is missing is the material base color (in this case, black). I accidentaly erased it. It's fixed now. In my computer transparent maps look very weird in DX10, however in your screens they look good. It must be a drivers thing.

Do you have any plans to have a couple EA-6B Prowlers on deck. Its the only plane missing from your airwing. Not a complaint, just an observation.
