Nimrod smoke question

Sorry Dave, you are correct!
What I meant to say, was the smoke is not listed in the aircraft .cfg, as with many models, it's instruction comes via the model....I think!

I think I've sussed it. If you cycle through the 2d cockpit (which I never use) then the smoke appears. I'd guess the gauge is in the 2d part of the panel.cfg. I'll have a look and see if I can identify the gauge.

I put the lines below in the vc part of the panel.cfg...

[Vcockpit01]

gauge15=Nim!EngineRPM1, 432,457,60,60
gauge16=Nim!EngineRPM2, 497,459,60,60
gauge17=Nim!EngineRPM3, 662,459,60,60
gauge18=Nim!EngineRPM4, 725,458,60,60
gauge19=Nim!EGT1, 433,521,60,60
gauge20=Nim!EGT2, 497,522,60,60
gauge21=Nim!EGT3, 660,520,60,60
gauge22=Nim!EGT4, 724,520,60,60

I tried both of those, but I am still a smoke free zone! At least I seem to be in line with current medical thinking!

Still no smoke for me! :frown:

Perhaps its also a GPU and driver issue?? I'm running a 2Gb nVidia GTX 285 with driver 260.99

Andy

This issue is directly attributable to the EU directive on banning smoking in public places

:icon_lol:

I still haven't flown her yet...or even run my sim in weeeeeeeks!

Thanks for that info 'trooper. It would be a good idea for everyone who is getting this problem to post up what their system consists of so maybe I can get a better picture
