'No Carrier "Bloatware" On iPhone'

I for one am very glad they don't put that crap on it. I hate all that carrier crap.

Give me a phone with nothing and let me put what I want on it.

I went with an HTC phone because I will not put i-Tunes on my computer. I hate i-Tunes with a passion!

I am lucky in that my phone did not come with a lot of bloatware. Where I burn is that I am stuck with Android 1.5 because Telus (my carrier) "customized" the OS so that I cannot update to Android 2.1. Telus would have to request an update from HTC and they don't want to spend the $.

Grrrr. Can't win.

I have an HTC Touch Pro I bought a year and a few months ago. I have hated it and Windows Mobile for most of that time. The phone slipped out of my hands last week and the screen has been dark ever since. I can still receive calls but that is it. Saved any files that were on it to the computer and am probably going to get an iPhone 3G. It is good to know Apple keeps AT&T at bay with the bloatware.
