I can't say I'm that surprised really. At least some have entered preservation though.

Yeah, it was developed in the 70's wasn't it? It's pretty outdated now, especially compared to the new generation fighters, still they could have given me one. :d
More development is being given to stand-off weapons, 3rd generation stealth and UAV's that can do the same task.
Not diminishing the F-117 accomplishments but it was great for the era in which it was developed. However, other than the airframe most of the systems used were already existing or COTS items.
She did have a good run though...............

it's better also, because that way, some stupid politician won't sell them to some 3rd world nation like they did with a few others.
