• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

North American A-27

Oldwheat has uploaded a very nice rendition of this rather obscure WW2 fighter. Based on Wozza's source file for his FS2004 Texan, the A-27 is sharp. It flies nicely in FS2004...though it will need config file tweaking for lights, effects and that sort of thing. Full 2D and VC panels, all the bells and whistles of Wozza's Texan are in the A-27....other than the crew members. They are not part of the model but are placed via the DP file...which does not work in FS2004.

The A-27 has a 3-blade prop, two nose mounted machine guns and a rear ward facing machine gun on a flexible mount. Very neat little plane.

The A-27 can be downloaded from the CFS2 library here on SOH/Combatfs.com.
