is there any nose art for cfs2 planes or will the nose art in the add ons for cfs3 work in cfs2?
 
There is nose art for CFS2 around.

Now if I can just remember where I saw it.....................:help:

The nose are system in CFS3 does not exist in CFS2. In CFS2, the nose art has to be placed directly on the aircraft's texture file and can not be changed like in CFS3.

To put nose art of your choice on CFS2 planes, you first need Martin Wright's DXTbmp software to convert the extended bmp files into 24-bit Windows bmp files. Then you need some sort of paint/photo editor program...preferrably one that works with layers..and the knowledge of how to use that program.

Nose art sources are unlimited...just look around the net for images of classic nose art that you can place on your aircraft. Heck, you can put your dog's picture on the plane if you want.

Nose art and pilot art

It pretty easy to do just have to play around a bit with the textures cut/crop and paste. :jump:

I've taken photos of WWII pilots and family members and myself and put them onto the pilots face which is kinda of fun.
