not able to see the texture ot the plane to show up

Hi John,

The sound folder is aliased to the FDG F4U-2. If you haven't got this one installed, the F4U-4B won't show up. Easiest fix is to replace the sounds with your favourite F4U corsair sound files.

your texture folder, is it named texture or texture.1

if its not named texture.1 then that is your problem. your CFG is looking for it. you can either remove the 1 in the cfg or rename the texture folder to texture.1

give that a try.

This is what the panel.cfg says in the F4U-4B Panel folder I have

This means it won't show unless you have the F4U-4 also installed.

The VF-323 textures are texture.2 from the F4U-4
The others are
VF-214 = F4U-4B texture folder
VF-53 = F4U-4B texture.1 folder

When I read back the aircraft.cfg file you pasted above, I think you're trying to get F4U-4B textures to show up on a F4U-4 aircraft?

The FDG Corsairs anthology has both an F4U-4 (3 texture options) AND a F4U-4B (2 texture options) aircraft. They are separate aircraft models.

I'm confused :dizzy:
 
I had a problem with the same planes when I got a new video card,the textures were all white.This never happened with the old card.

It tuned out that all planes with DXT3 format textures were white.No matter how I tweaked the card settings no luck.I finally changed the texture format to 16 bit (565) and the textures showed up.
