(No problem for me, my family and probably most of Europe though. Our version of St.Nicholas is a typical hippie. He comes from the woods up north, has a long beard, is thin and bad kids get a round of birching from him...okay, not quite a hippie then. Milk and cookies is a North American tradition, in the UK (in our house at least) it was always a glass of sherry and a mince pie...oh and a carrot for Rudolph too!
