I have a question...........

I've downloaded and plan to install Pactex2a thru 2e. Do I need to install Pactex 1 thru 5 also? I know that Pactex2a - 2e is version 2 which I assume is the newer version......any opinions?

Hi Dudleyz48, As far as the two versions go, you do not need to install both. Version 2 is the newer one.

On opinions or choice of which one...that's a tough call. One man's drink is another man's poison. :d

I can say version 1 is more colorful, while version 2 tends to have more of an arid look. Maskrider's web page has many screenshots where version 1 is used. If you go there those will give an idea what for that look.

May I ask what's the purpose of PacTex? And how wide ranging is it?

Hi Pips,

PacTex are replacements for the default CFS2 ground textures and they cover the globe.
