Just wanted to advise everyone that I will be largely offline here for a while as my Father is in Hospice Care (final care) due to a long term illness. I will poke my head in at times when I need to get my mind off things but at some point I will rejoin the regular discussions here.

Admins, I posted here as this is the primary place I am active here but if needed, you can move the thread.

I pray for comfort and clarity in the troubling times you and your family have ahead of you.
 
Stay strong. I'm in the same situation with my mother. It's hard, both emotionally and physically.

Storm and Roger, my thoughts, prayers, and well wishes go out to both of you. This community will always be here to support our members as they face hardships such as this. I know you guys have always been there to encourage me and lift me up through my trials in life. Take that to heart. We are more than a community. I live in a community and don't even know some of my neighbors. We are a FAMILY. I think Ickie taught us that, and let us never forget...
 
Spend every last minute you can with your Father. Mine has leukemia so I can relate ... all the best and stay strong. Mike
 
I feel for you Storm. I hope you dad is at least comfortable, or as comfortable as possible. Take care of him, and all the rest of your family as best is possible.
And don't forget, tell your dad you love him. Sometimes we don't get that chance...
