Now that I got in here How the H*** Do I get OUT!

Anyway that must be the difference in realism settings (all sliders right). The J3 Cub and the Helio Courier both can not generate enough speed at 3300' to get off the ground. The Helio Courier starts to climb but it is not fast enough nor does it have enough room to turn for the circular climb.

Most of the time, I have my sim set to medium realism....I like to fly my planes as much as possible...and I like to do STOOPID things while flying my planes...and on 100% realism, doing STOOPID things results in my planes turning into potato plows too quickly.

As previous posters stated, you fly around inside the bowl. The J-3 and Bill Lyons' Tri-Pacer can get out in under a full circle. Spent some time last week trying various a/c. Found getting in harder BY FAR than getting out.

Try using the Shorts Tucano - I had no problem getting out...

Or the Christen Eagle. Great climber and extreme STOL (almost a VTOL) all around. I was able to land it (and more importantly stop it before it got out) on the width of the runway at LIRN, once (with only 4 knots of headwinds, no less).

One thing to bear in mind is that not everyone is running the same mesh so "your hole may not be as big as his hole"

..... hmmm..

that doesn't sound right...

but you get the image:icon_lol:

That reminds me of the Assicons post in Caneo's Cantina......
