I've been getting a CTD on FS9 after taking off from a carrier. The sim quits to a black screen followed by a dialog box reporting the following:

FS Version
ModVer: 5.1.2600.6055
AppVer: 9.0.0.30612
Offset: 00010a19
ModName: ntdll.dll

I've searched for "nt.dll.dll" in all four iterations of the flightsim I'm running, but can not find it either in the FS base file, or in the "Modules" folders in any of the sims as well. Any ideas?:icon_eek:

No surprise, since ntdll.dll is part of Windows.

Google says that it's faulty third party add-ons most of the time (the "NTDLL.dll" thing just being a general "something went wrong somewhere" indicator).
Skimming a few old threads, the causes seem to be very inconsistent.

From a missing MS Visual C .dll file that some code within a gauge depends on to a wrongly formatted bitmap file.
This kind of stuff.

Try to narrow the error down further.

Thanks. This occurred while flying the freeware Alpha F-8 from one of the carriers in Carrier Group 6. No other aircraft launched from or trapped on the boat has ever caused this issue. I will try a refresh of both the carrier file as well as the F-8. I also ran a scan with my Avast last night as well as a complete scan of the entire system using MalwareBytes, no problems were surfaced so it just sounds, just as you said, like some incompatability issue, presumably between the two files.:salute:
