nvidia control panel application error

Can any one advise me how to restore the control pannel when I click on it all I gat is application error 2.2.200.00 this happened after I deleted what I thought was old driver stuff.

Just reinstall the driver.
 
Try removing the driver and download a Video driver cleaner, boot into safe mode and remve the left overs,then reinstall the current video driver.

Ill try that in the morning. I have already reinstalled the driver but did not do a clean first. Looks like something needs removing first. Which driver would you use as I may as well get the latest reliable one.
 
Tried that and still not playing the game maybe I need a different cleaner program any suggestionns im running vista 32 home with 2 86oo nvidia gs cards

EDIT:- cracked it and this is what I did

1)removed nvidia tools
2) removed enhancer
3) removed physx
4) in safe mode deleted drivers in control panel [ /device manager/display adapters. under both cards (sli set up) ]
5) Ran video cleaner as per instructions (twice)
6) using ccleaner ran reg cleaner 3 times to clean registry entries
7)Reinstalled driver etc.

This may or may not be of any use to someone
