Sorry to bother you in the forum but am unable to contact you via PM. I know you did alot of work to get TrackIR working in Vista. I am trying to see if it would be possible to get it working in CFS2. NaturalPoint has no intention of creating a profile for that game because of its age but I think it may be possible to do it with a program called glovePIE. It claims to be able to work with TrackIR but it has Optitrack.dll and am wondering if TrackIR uses some other .dll. I hope to be able to get in touch with you some way to get some ideas on how I can go about doing this.

Thanks,

John

John, Rex Hannover is the code guru behind our Vista fix.

I doubt that we would want to look into a CFS2 fix as that would mean a step backwards but its up to Rex.

Hey, POLECAT
I still like CFS2 too, but did you ever try "IL2 Stormovik" ? That should be great, using TrackIR. And Oleg's "Battle of Britain" is still to come - there, you could join one of the Polish Squadrons; and TrackIR would be recommendet there, I assume.
Cheers; Olham

Winder, does Rex visit this forum? If not, is there any way to contact him? I don't necessarily need him to redo the whole thing there are just a few questions that might get me going in the right direction.

Olham, I fly IL-2 all of the time and love it but have gotten back into CFS2 recently because of the world map and of all the things they've done with it, including refueling at all airbases. Not to mention whole September 1939 campaign and probably the most complete library of WWII areas, ships, and planes. Having said all that, IL-2 is still my current passion.

Cheers,

John

Yes Rex does - I am sure he will stop by in due course.

Just as a public service: The Developers were forced to 'Hide' from contact via PM from the members of this forum. Entirely Tooooo many, stupid questions, verbal abuse, and general assumptions in reference to their dubious parentage abounded. :kilroy:
