We left last saturday and expect to be gone 7 to 8 weeks.

As of noe we are about 1800 miles from home,no land in sight, calm sea and a steady wind. There still is nothing like watching the sun set or rise, the reflection of the moon on the ocean or a clear view of the stars while out to sea.

Oh, sigh. I'm green. Our 32ft ketch is on the hard because that's where I landed having been upended by an enthusiastic golden retriever chasing a ball -- two broken ribs. The good side is it will give us the opportunity to do over her insides (did outsides) which always gets put off in favor of getting out on the water.

What's your itinerary?

Is your avatar your boat? Gorgeous.

Fair winds; flat water.
