Obio Or someone clever and keen re Bristol 188 freeware conversion

I am trying to get the old Bristol 188 into FSX and it seems to work OK up to a point. I am having difficulty re ground/nosewheel steering. In short it doesn't and to turn it is a case of resorting to braking L and R. Otherwise it looks good and flys well.
What should I be looking for in the cfg for steering?

Open aircraft.cfg and scroll to contact points hopefully if we both have the same download you will find these lines, the bit of interest is in the point.0= line go across that line to 30.0 which is under 9 in the top line change that 30.0 to 45.0 and see what you get. that figure is nosewheel steer angle in degrees it may give the angle you want if not enough increase by .5, this is assuming nosewheel steering is modeled, have'nt used it for ages so can't remember that much

That is a little better thank you. Still turns like a pig but a slimmer one lol

I edited the item at #7 to read 90 (presumably degrees) and although still sluggish, it can at least turn now.

Yes item 7 is the one it just turned out that the 30.0 turned up under 9 in my copy paste

Try adding this to your brake section may give better differential steering, other than digging it out and spending time on it not much more I can think of
