Nice Vid,

But the damage to your crate is coming out of your pay!!!

Unless you shoot down a few huns to make up for it. :costumes:

Vid: Scrambled Albatros !

Another P3Beta vid ....

1st April 1917
48 Squadron RFC
Bellevue
France

Dear mother,

I've been posted to 48 Squadron which has the new Bristol fighter 2-seater .... and just in time for a jolly good show. Word is there's a big push on. The Bosche are well aware of it. The sound of marching men and machinery has been going on for weeks in the dead of night. Whatever's going on it's going to be big.

I like these new "Biffs". I think we'll be able to stick it right up the huns with these machines. Still no word from Pater ? I'd better go. There's some commotion outside. I'll write again soon. All my love and keep your chin up mother.

Your loving son,
Cpt V.C. Armitage

Good show, old chap!

Thanks for the second vid. This whole bit about music choice has me wondering if like me some of you guys fly with a radio in your cockpit? Sometimes I run Rhapsody, with personal music channels, running in the background while I fly. Like The Kinks Channel or The Opeth Channel. Whatever suits my mood. I adjust the radio sound to not drownout the P2 sounds and effects. It is not true to the times and may cause some distraction from the sim situations but it is fun for me and helps pass the time during those long flights and sometimes enhances the action. A little trial and error to get the sound levels set and the wife doesn't have to hear as I wear a nice headset. If I am flying after midnight I listen to Coast to Coast with George Noary.

Love da Hollies! :wiggle: Great video. I liked the use of the side slip to bleed speed on your approach, too.

Although I love your videos, Catch, let's hope this is the last one before everyone else gets their hands on phase 3. :friday:

Hey Catch, nice Vid. I see its pretty hard to keep the rear gunner in firing solution in these two seat birds, good job!

..... hey on the next vid I would like to request " Carrie-Ann " by the Hollies. You do take requests, don't you?

LOL!
Happy Holidays,

Keri-Ann (WF2)

Hello Catch22,
thanks for this video - now the AI seems indeed to slow down to get behind you, and keeps manoeuvering. Have to admit this is indeed much better than in Phase 2 (nothing aginst P2 though). First i thought "wow he's riding this "lame" plane like a fighter", outmanoeuverin an Albatros ?! Until i realized this was the Brisfit and not an RE8. Phew.
30 german aircraft in six months with a "Brisfit" ! :

Must have been quite a good plane, but i never heard much about it before ..
Aye gass oua reekonneyzanz zuks pigg time

A question: How does the plane fly when you yourself switch to the rear gunner's position ? Does it fly on halfways straight and level, so you are able to get a good shot at your adversary ?

Greetings,
Catfish

Catfish, I don't know if you read it or not, but you can find OvS' experience in a two seater rear seat here-http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=2610

Hey, CATCH, would be great, if you could list up the YouTube linking line, as the video wouldn't run on my system, as long as I'm in the forum?
Cheers; Olham

The music is I Due Fiumi by Ludovico Einaudi. Did you like it Ultraman?

best

nio

Great Vid Nio,

Loved the music too - "Spiegel im Spiegel" is my favourite piece of Einaudi's works

Happy New Year one and all, :ernae:

Great videos guys. Nio, the music choice worked very well with the dogfight. If that's your first, then you I think you have done a marvelous job.

Happy New Year to one and all.:ernae:
