In view of the information that the production of the Dvd's of Phase 3 is being done by a specialst concern,is it now possible to give a little more information as to how this will be done? Will those who have indicated proir interest in purchasing P3 be contacted by e-mail to confirm their wish to buy ?

Well once it is available you simply go to the website and click buy.. so the pre order email you sent is now not really any use. Although it did really help us judge what was needed so thanks to all who did send an email.
It was designed to form a queue when we were going to publish the DVDs ourselves manually. We have since been assured that the DVD making company can cope with whatever we throw at it.
We may send out an email saying please go to this link to buy, but if you have to wait for an email to tell you that, then you will already be behind everyone else who checked the website every day

Well, the e-mail will not be needed for those who frequent this board and are anxiously waiting but it may prompt those less committed so it would be a good idea - and the price is right.
I also suggest that you send copies to gaming/historical and flight websites and magazines with a short note explaining the product. Be sure to include detailed install instructions. You will get some positive press out of that effort for sure.:birthday2

Well, speaking only for myself(maybe I've been lucky) I have done many purchases through Paypal including some international ones to the U.S.A,EUROPE and have had no trouble at all. It's certainly convenient and has wide acceptance. I do realise that there are some that either through having a bad experience or good old fashioned prejudice that won't use it at all. I am sure that here will be a way that caters for most people.

If moving to an e-commerce footing left us only with Paypal as a customer payment option then I guess it would not really be an e-commerce footing?
We have stated many times now that the payment options are flexible but there is still no option that says "free"..... alas.

The only thing wrong with PayPal is the black helicopters that can appear silently to snatch you away if you use it. Other than that, no big deal.

I agree completely. After having PayPal wreck my bank account over their own stupidity, and keep doing it until my bank told me to tell PayPal to kiss off and close the account, I do not use PayPal.

We have said numerous times each person can choose from SEVERAL payment methods, as per many other websites out there.
Given that, I think it's reasonable if I ask for people to stop knocking various payment methods now based on something that happened to them?

What "issues" exactly?? Is there something I need to know that I haven't discovered yet?? I've been using Paypal now for years and never had any issues with it at all.
If I'm putting myself at some sort of risk, I'd sure like to know about it.

Paypal's Stupidity might not be the case you were forced to deal with, I can safely say that as VERIFIED member of PayPal, who only needs my password to access My Bank account, checking accounts, Mastercard, and Visa. Never lost a dime since 2001
Everybody, and their Brother wanted that Password, but I never gave to them. They even made believe they were PayPal ( Looked Real).
Just Remember ONE THING . . PAYPAL will NEVER contact you
