• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Ok, lets not let pd's efforts go to waste.

Will plan to look for a game around 6ish edt, if none is hosted, will host game and post ip.
 
Make sure you let us know how it goes! (still don't have the game yet)
I am keeping a close watch on this MP situation. If it turns out to be a major problem I may think twice about getting the game. Yeah right!!

Hi,

Hopefully, it will go ok.....think it will,,i got a mp game up last nite, and did not get kicked off when someone tried to join, but they did not do the fix at thier end, so they got kicked off.

If there are enough players on off3mp, (or none......) then i might switch over to off2mp. Have a dogfight mission I need to test out, so watch the posts.
 
How long will the server be up? I'd like to join in. But I need it to be around 7-9. 6ish is dinner... and it's my night to COOK!!

So if you're still up around then, I'd like to drop in if I can get this to work.

Do I need a MIC? And anything else? Is there a step-by-step other than PD's new JPG on what else I need?

If you have teamspeak, its always a plus. If we switch hosts, or anything like that nice to be able to comminicate it to everyone.

Ok, now i see why pd wanted us to get rid of the overflandersfield shortcut on the desktop,,,,way too easy for someone to hit it by accident after they have done the fix (like i just did).

so,,,recommend that if you havent done so, either get rid of it,,,or change the icon so you dont just hit it out of habit..

I just named one OFF Multiplayer, one OFF singleplayer.. I'm ready to go (I think) but when I start multiplayer the plane is not flying around like it was before, it's in a pile..

have a player that cant join my game cause of mismatch aircraft, so am going to have them host,,,and will try and join thier game,,,will post change in ip as soon as i know it, and his game works..
 
nope,,,still mismatch,,so my game is back up,,,,promised some off2 players i would put up a off2mp game at 8ish, so will only be on for about another 40 mins in off3

worked like a champ.

only 2 of us for the most part, but there was no spinning of aircraft.

I had my sliders much higher than i usually do, and very little stuttering,

Watching an engine or gas tank explode on an enemy was great.

Great news, did you guys play a mission? I'm not quite sure how, but I believe you can save campaign missions and play them co-op, correct? I'd like to start saving each mission and create an "online campaign" that follows the one i'm flying, wonder if that will work?
