Need to add wing decals to F4U-1A skin works for overhauled version.I redid the stock skin so itll work but noticed no wing decals.Cant remember if stock had them or not but seems weird not having them.How would I do this again?
 
I don't think there is a decal for the OH planes. Its actually a part of the model on the stock planes. If you get a good texture you won't need it. If your looking to repaint one talk to Bub or UT. They may have a template so you can paint one up.

I was wondering where you were.

If you use the wildcats I think they are the same.

On a similar subject, do you have any templates for damage textures?

Dasuto is using the B24 Guys overhauled F4U-1A, & as you advised earlier that has the "decal" reference removed from the model. No need to use insignia decal bmps, they have to be painted onto the skin.

I think what he's asking for is a way to paint decals onto the stock paint.

I just took a look at the d/load (was uploaded by BoeingvsAirbusNKL). The skin with it already has insignia painted on, & looks like it was itself based on the stock skin.

So why not just cut & paste the insignia from one paint to the other?:sheep:

Easy to do if you have a paint prog that handles layers.

Description: H_F4U1a stock skin by UncleTgt

This is a simple repaint for the B24 Guy's F4U1a Corsair for CFS 2.

It's the stock paint with wing insignia painted on, & small details added such as formation lights & a more detailed engine paint.

To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
