Ohio Air Show 1954 In Color!

Excellent document, some of those pics look as if they were taken yesterday, the only giveaway being as you say the clothing. Men in suits, no women in pants, no blue jeans in evidence.
How many of those a/c are till our favourites today!

Absolutely fascinating stuff - some rare old birds there (aircraft too !).

I particularly like the YB-52, the Cutlass prototype, and the old Phantom - according to my book, 111749 was the first production FD-1.

The Starfire is a forgotten gem - it was the very first plastic model kit I ever made - looks like there is only one survivor at Edwards AFB.

Lovely old archive, Kevin - thanks.

Thanks for posting Kevin!

Some great photos of rare aircraft; until just now I never heard of a two-seat Sabre! Color shots of the XC-99 are a first for me too.
