Potential Activation issues aside: no need for me to grab a seat 
For me, MS "support" on FSX stopped after they released SP2 and Accelleration.
But I guess it boils down to how you define "support".
With the announcement of Flight, it was clear that the "support" of the whole MSFS product line had ended forever.
For me, this formal announcement by MS has no relevance whatsoever; what MS calls "support" on FSX since SP2/Accel was a joke at best.
